Alison Malton, managing director of ComPeer, was quoted throughout an article on the level of fees from private wealth managers. A recent survey by ComPeer, revealed that 75% of private wealth managers said fees were important and 23% said that they had discounted prices to win client business. Further to this Alison stated "The competition is increasing, meaning there is pressure to reduce fees or become more innovative in fee structure, but there are often hidden costs."
