How we made GBP350,000 in a year - 21.12.2007
Investors Chronicle
In an article on traders amassing healthy profits during 2007, it was written that according to ComPeer, trading has been buoyant in riskier instruments including contracts for difference (CFDs) and other derivative type products that involve a high degree of leverage. In the year to 30th September trading in these instruments increased by 40%. Alison Malton, managing director of ComPeer, was quoted as saying "this is because these instruments are cheaper, effectively representing more bang for the investor's buck."
