Banks lose out as public shuns advice, says survey - 30.01.2008

According to a survey conducted by ComPeer there are a growing number of people who are snubbing financial advice in favour of sorting out their own finances. 2,000 adults were quizzed in the survey, 53% of whom do not use a financial advisers (2003: 31%). The largest shift away from advice in the period is among 25 to 29 year olds where 57% have no adviser compared to 26% in 2003.
