Investor Interest Increases in Private Equity Trusts - 01.02.2008

The article covers the results of a study conducted in October and November of 2007 by iPEIT in conjunction with wealth management specialist ComPeer.
One highlight of the survey mentioned in the article is that there has been a marked change in the asset allocation of listed private equity, with 72% of particpants in 2007 allocating PEITs as alternatives and only 20% as equities. In 2006 the corresponding figures were 56% and 38%. The survey also showed that investors in limited partnership funds showed significant interest in PEITs.
